Quartz Mineral Specimens from Yellow Lake, New York

Quartz are the only mineral specimens found at the Yellow lake site in New York.

This is a little known mineral specimen location in St. Lawrence County New York.  The site produces only quartz and has been closed to collectors for a number of years.  The quartz points are usually a milky gray color and are zoned in their growth.  They can attain large sizes but are seldom seen in good display pieces.  Good clusters of these quartz specimens are almost nonexistent.
