        This mineral specimens is a fine example of a branching Herkimer diamond scepter crystal from Little Falls, New York.   Tremolite and dravite from this location are classic mineral specimens from St. Lawrence County, New York.   This mineral specimen from the Jay Walter is on of the best barites to be produced at the Beaman Road site near Gouverneur, New York.    Minerals specimens like this wonderful uvite and quartz cluster are still being found at the Bower Power's property in Pierrepont, New York.  

We take great pride in being active field collectors of New York State mineral specimens.  In fact, this is probably the most enjoyable part of our year....when the weather is nice enough we spend our time in the field hunting for crystallized minerals.  The majority of our specimens in all of these categories are self collected or from old collections.  For many collectors of fine mineral specimens the term "Self Collected" means "Junk".  That will not be the case with our materials.  Many classics to be found here........
