Minnesota Mineral Specimens

OKD-099

OKD-099   Groutite and Quartz   Robert Mine, Caynua Range, MN.  Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain Collection.  Very rare mineral from its classic location.  Lots of voids in this large chunk with tiny crystals throughout.  I say, “Tiny” but these are huge for the species.  Crystals are somewhat crude in form while others are sharpe.  Crystals to half a cm in length!  Bright silver colored to flat gray in color.  Excellent example of this rare material.  10 x 9 x 6 cm overall.  200$
