Chinese Silver Specimens For Sale, Page 2

These new wire silvers from the Huang Tong Xiang Mine, Town of Lu Jiang, Anhui Prov., China have been on the market for approximately two years now and are gaining popularity.  Many of the specimens to follow are pieces with wire silver on acanthite (silver sulfide) crystals

Initially many of the matrix specimens of wire silvers were counterfeits so keep your eyes open for wires which are actually glued to their matrices.  The specimens to follow are free wires which have attractive patinas and no damage.  The individual silver wires do get quite long and are also important additions to any serious silver or Chinese theme collection.  My prices are way below what I am seeing elsewhere on the internet.  Most will have temporary mountings on acrylic squares which can easily be removed.  The descriptions will just be measurements of the specimenís height.  Because most are twisted the overall length of the wire is longer.  These are an absolute steal for silvers!!
