A nice gem topaz from Pakistan.    Topaz on albite from Pakistan.

                        Topaz                                                     Topaz                                                  Topaz on Feldspar

The topaz from Pakistan can be some of the most attractive specimens around...often gemmy, well formed, sometimes large and often on matrix are all qualities which make them highly desirable.  Colors range from none at all to sherry and very rarely red. Occasionally, it is found naturally etched which adds another feature to this interesting mineral species.  Alone or in combination with other minerals it makes for very aesthetic specimens.  Some great examples are for sale here.
