OKK-759

OKK-759     Quartz Scepters and Fluorite    Huanggang Mine, Hexigten Banner, Ulanhan League, Chifeng Prefecture, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China.    This is a fine large cluster of crystals sticking out in almost every direction with clear octahedral fluorites forming a layer along the base of the specimens.  11.5 x 7 x 6 cm overall with scepters to almost 5 cm each.  The specimen is a floater with old contacts now mostly healed.  A couple of small points are broken but these will have to be looked for carefully to find.  They are well hidden and certainly not in any way distracting.  Overgrowths of quartz distract from the overall luster.  The fluorites are gemmy, of high luster, and complex.  Comes with a custom engraved acrylic base.  The specimen is so complex, well formed, and large that it is still a fine value at  $500
