OKL-892    Sphalerite and Galena      Madan Ore Field, Rhodope Mountains, Smolyan Oblast, Bulgaria.  Both skeletal and twinned cubes of galena that are slightly modified by octahedrons.  They have the perfect amount of patina and are slightly rounded.  The sphalerites are very large and each crystals surface is highly modified with surface growth features or parallel growth steps.  All very attractive and interesting.  7.5 x 7.1 x 3.7 cm overall.  Crystallized on back also but poorly compared to the front.  Minor quartz.  No damage.  $45

OKL-893    Sphalerite and Galena      Madan Ore Field, Rhodope Mountains, Smolyan Oblast, Bulgaria.  Bright galenas hoppered or skeletal with minor schalenohedron modifications.  Bright, lustrous, smooth faced sphalerites.  Nice mix and aesthetics  8.2 x 7.2 x 4.1 cm with no damage.  Minor quartz.   $50

OKL-894    Sphalerite and Galena      Madan Ore Field, Rhodope Mountains, Smolyan Oblast, Bulgaria.  Sharp sphalerites yellow to deep red with most being darker in color.  The majority form in balls of crystals which are very aesthetic and flashy.  Only a few galena and quartz and they are low luster.  8 x 6 x 3.4 cm and no damage.  Back is crystallized by quartz and small galenas but is not very attractive.  $40

OKL-895    Sphalerite, Galena, Quartz, Calcite Balls     Madan Ore Field, Rhodope Mountains, Smolyan Oblast, Bulgaria.  A damage free floater with only very minor edge contact along a single side.  This aesthetic piece measures 7.9 x 5.5 x 4..4 cm overall. Great luster and crystal form, crystallized on backside too but it is not as attractive as front.  $40

OKL-896    Galena and Sphalerite     Madan Ore Field, Rhodope Mountains, Smolyan Oblast, Bulgaria.  A beautiful example with fine twins well displayed on contrasting dull quartz matrix.  Zero damage floater with just the right patina for the species (galena).  8.7 x 6.2 x 4 cm.  Really nice specimen!  $120

OKL-897    Sphalerite and Pyrite    Madan Ore Field, Rhodope Mountains, Smolyan Oblast, Bulgaria.  A pice sporting big sphalerites with complex development and pyrites on one side of the specimen.  Luster is very nice and the specimen interesting.  Minor quartz.  6.5 x 5.4 x 4.6 cm with pyrite crystals on back, as well.  $35
