Terminations

OKM-777    Ilvaite    Huanggang Mine, Hexigten Banner, Ulanhan League, Chifeng Prefecture, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China.  A nice example of this material that I believe surpasses the Russian ilvaites in quality.  This on is not huge, just a good specimen measuring 4.1 x 1.7 x 1.1 cm.  Excellent luster composed of two double terminated crystals.  A third crystal is missing.  $30

OKM-778    Ilvaite and Quartz   Huanggang Mine, Hexigten Banner, Ulanhan League, Chifeng Prefecture, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China.  A nice example of this material that I believe surpasses the Russian ilvaites in quality.  This on is not huge, just a good specimen measuring 4.2 x 1.8 x 1.8 cm.  A stocky crystal that is beautifully double terminated and of the highest luster.  Termination contact on back of one termination is minor and not visible when displayed correctly.  $45

OKL-980

OKL-980    Cerussite    Gulin, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China.  Nice big, blocky crystal with minor quartz attachments in a couple of places.  No damage, great luster and excellent translucence/ transparency in small areas. 1.7 x 1.6 x 1.4 cm makes this a rather large crystal for the Chinese cerussites.  Cream color.  Attractive and very good quality for this material.  Mounted in a perky box.  $40

OKI-504

OKI-504    Feldspar, Muscovite and Aquamarine    Xue Bao Ding Mine, Ping Wu, Sichuan Prov., China.  Several nice, translucent white feldspars to 7 cm each stand up nicely on a plate of small aquas and muscovite.  The feldspars are very impressive in form, luster and complexity.  I believe these may be twins (all show twin planes…or perhaps these are parallel growth planes) and are all double terminated.  The piece is a mind blowing damage free floater.  The feldspars also have dissolution etched channels on some faces and not on others.  8 x 4.8 x 4.5 cm.  Amazing in every regard for a feldspar.  200$
