OKI-236

Base

OKI-236     Fluorite          Highway #5, Old Chelsea, Quebec, Canada.  Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain Collection.  Prev. Dr. George Robinson, 1981.  An unusually fine example of this rare and coveted material. This is a very fine thumbnail showing two corners with well defined purple inclusions for which the location is so well noted.  A 2 cm wide crystal measuring 1.6 cm on edge.  The crystal is double terminated with a small base contact and one repair that resulted in some residual chipping to one side.  Several views are exceptional and make this rarity will worth the asking price.  I never seem to have these remain in my inventory very long and would not expect this one to do so either.    $325
