OKO-553

OKO-553      Manganoan Adamite on Arseniosiderite      Mina Ojuela, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico.  Ex Harold Dibble collection.  This is an attractive piece of this very rare, very aesthetic material.  It measures 9 x 4.2 x 3 cm with most of the adamites being on the right side, as seen.  The only damage is a broken crystal in front directly on the edge of the specimen.  These are expensive specimens so the price on this one reflects that damage.  It could be trimmed off but there is the risk of damaging other crystals.  The color and luster are actually better than the images indicate.    As is $1,800.
