OKH-929    Fluorite    Mina El Filo, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico.  Ex. Paul and Dawne Dunning collection.  A showy miniature with light purple cubes to 1.7 cm on edge.  The specimen measures 4.8 x 3.8 x 2.9 cm and displays well on a flattened base.  Underlying cube at base (not a primary cube) is cleaved.  No damage piece in most individuals minds.  Good aesthetics and luster.  Very nice, very displayable.  $95

OKH-930    Fluorite    Namibia, S.W. Africa (I assume Okurusu).  Ex. Paul and Dawne Dunning collection.  Interlocking green cubes with purple corner phantoms.  Gemmy crystals show nucleation on what appears to be a small shard of matrix with tiny white barite balls.  2.6 x 2.4 x 2 cm overall with no damage, fine luster and good aesthetics.  $40

OKH-932    Fluorite with Calcite    Denton Mine, Hardin Co. Illinois. Ex. Paul and Dawne Dunning collection.  Purple cubes to 2.8 cm each compose this 5.4 x 5 x 3 cm piece.  Mounted in a perky box but it appears to be a floater, healed surfaces with tiny calcites overgrowing them on all sides.  No damage, satin luster and fine form.  Displays well from all sides.  $80

Paul and Dawne Dunning collection.  Blue cubes to .7 cm each on a layer of dolomite crystal on a hematite matrix.  Damage to two places but still a desirable specimen that displays well.  Dome like in form.  Hematite overgrowths form casts in many regions of the piece.  7.3 x 5.5 x 4.5 cm.  Price reflects its not being in perfect condition.  $65

Paul and Dawne Dunning collection.   Killer fluorite cube measuring 1.4 cm sits up high on a quartz and calcite coated matrix.  Great clarity, luster, form, and internal phantoms for which these specimens are so famous.  Two tiny “Wilbers” visible with magnification, tough to discern with the eye, have created a price that is about 20 % of what it would be if perfect.  5. 3 x 4.8 x 3.6 cm.  This will be a fantastic deal for someone and should go very fast.  $225

Paul and Dawne Dunning collection.  A large floater specimen measuring 8.3 x 6 x 4.5 cm.  Somewhat three dimensional with plates of parallel growth cubes.  A few healed surfaces, a couple very tiny damaged spots that are not at all distracting.  Generally speaking a very high quality piece with nice luster (it varies from satin in areas to glassy in others) from this once prolific locality.  A specimen that is superior to most form locale.  $240

Paul and Dawne Dunning collection.   A less than common color for the area this one is a medium yellow color and measures 4 x 3.1 x 3 cm.  I suspect it is quite old in that it comes from a time period when it was considered okay to write catalog numbers on the front of the specimen!  Frosted surfaces, no damage.  $90

Paul and Dawne Dunning collection.  This is a fine example of material from the mid 1980s.  It is a large plate measuring 10.9 x 7.2 x 2 cm thick.  It stands beautifully on edge displaying a damage free surface coated by green octahedral crystals.  Minor spot is scraped at top right.  $145

Paul and Dawne Dunning collection.  4 x 3.5 x 2.5 cm crystal from a famous U.S. location.  The specimen is exceptional for the site, the finest we have ever had.  Large and well formed floater with only a couple minor rough areas.  Interesting surface modifications, nice luster, well formed.  Very displayable in any position.  $145

Paul and Dawne Dunning collection.  A plate that is approx. 1 cm thick measuring 4.8 x 3.7 cm.  Cubes to 1 cm with step growth corners.  Minor coating of druse quartz in some areas add flash.  No damage.  Entire backside is also crystallized but does not have a high a luster. OKH-948    Fluorite and Auricalcite     RESERVED    Johnson Fluorite Mine,Manazano Mts., Albuquerque, New Mexico.  Ex. Paul and Dawne Dunning collection.  This may not look like much in the photos but this is certainly an unusual and desirable piece for anyone interested in fluorite.  The primary crystals are a rich deep blue color and have two other generations of fluorite on them.  The auricalcite is in tiny sprays along one side of the piece.  It is a plate like floater measuring 6 x 5 x 2.5 cm.  Mineralized on all surfaces.  No damage.  Very fine example of the location.  $300

OKH-952    Fluorite    Henson Mine, Buckskin Mts., LaPaz County, Arizona.  Ex. Paul and Dawne Dunning collection.  A fine group of exceptionally large crystals (to 4 cm on edge) in a tight cluster measuring 6 x 4.7 x 4.5 cm overall.  These big octahedrons have surfaces with stepped octahedrons modifying their surfaces.  Luster looks low due to the extensive surface modifications.  No damage.  Contacts base and bottom so it views fine from top, front and sides.  $180

OKH-775    Catapleiite     Mt. St.Hilaire, Quebec, Canada.  Ex. Paul and Dawne Dunning collection.  Prev. Neil Pfaff collection, circ. 1982.  This fine example of this rare species is simply outstanding in all regards.  High luster and great form are just the start.  The crystals are gemmy clear!.  They form a nice spray of nearly parallel alignment and measure 1.7 x 1.2 x .7 cm.  Nicely mounted in a perky box.  No damage.  Great piece!   $195

OKH-776     Pyrite on Fluorite      Yunnan Prov., China.  Ex. Paul and Dawne Dunning collection.  At first glance this looks like a pyrite cube.  Actually it is far more interesting….This well formed cube of fluorite is coated on most of its surface by tiny randomly oriented cubes of pyrite.  The cubes have minor modifications by dodecahedrons and octahedrons making them even more interesting.  An interesting, damage free specimen.   The base of cube is not coated and you can see the fluorite here and on part of one exposed face.  2.5 x 2.5 x 2 cm.  $75
