OKI-739 Cerussite Twins on Malachite after Azurite Tsumcorp Mine, Tsumeb, Otikoyo Region, Namibia, Africa. Ex. Nancy Collins Collection circ. 1970. This fine specimen measures 8 x 7.2 x 4.5 cm overall and is composed of numerous twinned and untwined cerussites on a lush carpet of forest green malachite pseudomorphs after azurite. The malachite pseudo are present in two generations: the first generation crystals are large, to 2.7 cm each, and followed by the second generation, much smaller, deeper green pseudos which coat about 30% of the surfaces of the first generation crystals. On this matrix can be found 2 fine clusters of twinned cerussites to 1.8 cm each and one lonely untwined crystal. They all stand off the malachite in high relief. The cerussites are very translucent and have a waxy to silky luster. There is no damage to the primary display face although some of the edge contacts are visible from the front yet not distracting. The backside has some mineralization ,as well. The specimens of malachite after azurite from this mine are known world over as classics. I’ve sold and seen many dozens of these malachites after azurite, but the several of these I now have for sale are the only ones I’ve known of in combination with the cerussites. Comes with a custom engraved acrylic base. Very rare and desirable. $3,500

OKI-740 Cerussite Twins on Malachite after Azurite Tsumcorp Mine, Tsumeb, Otikoyo Region, Namibia, Africa. Ex. Nancy Collins Collection circ. 1970. This fine specimen measures 6.5 x 6 x 4.8 cm overall and is composed of numerous twinned and untwined cerussites on a lush carpet of forest green malachite pseudomorphs after azurite. The largest twin is 1.7 cm on edge. The malachite pseudo are present in two generations: the first generation crystals are large, followed by the second generation, much smaller, deeper green pseudos which coat some of the surfaces of the first generation crystals. On this matrix there is a large centrally placed twin with good symmetry and luster. In addition are several small reticulated twins on the periphery. They all stand off the malachite in high relief. The cerussites are very translucent and have a waxy to silky luster. There is no damage to the primary display face although some of the edge contacts are visible on the sides of the piece. The backside has some mineralization, as well. The specimens of malachite after azurite from this mine are known world over as classics. I’ve sold and seen many dozens of these malachites after azurite, but the several of these I now have for sale are the only ones I’ve known of in combination with the cerussites. Comes with a custom engraved acrylic base. Rare and desirable. $2,200

OKI-742 Cerussite Twins on Malachite after Azurite Tsumcorp Mine, Tsumeb, Otikoyo Region, Namibia, Africa. Ex. Nancy Collins Collection circ. 1970. This fine specimen measures 4 x 3.1 x 2.9 cm overall and is composed of several twinned and untwined cerussites on a lush carpet of forest green malachite pseudomorphs after azurite. The malachite pseudo are present in two generations: the first generation crystals are large, to 2 cm each, and followed by the second generation, much smaller, deeper green pseudos which coat about 20 % of the surfaces of the first generation crystals. On this matrix can be found twinned cerussites to 1.4 cm. There is no damage to this specimen. The specimens of malachite after azurite from this mine are known world over as classics. I’ve sold and seen many dozens of these malachites after azurite, but the several of these I now have for sale are the only ones I’ve known of in combination with the cerussites. $800

OKI-570 Vesuvianite Jeffrey Mine, Asbestos, Quebec, Canada. Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain Collection. A big, stocky TN specimen with the highest of luster and a vibrant green color. 3.4 x 2.4 x 2 cm overall the crystal sits well on edge for display. The top termination is glassy and gemmy. There is no damage but there are minor base contacts and a small one on the small rider crystal. I’m being picky because this is a really well crystallized piece which displays great from any side including the back. Exceptional and large TN. 195$

OKI-582 Vesuvianite RESERVED Jeffrey Mine, Asbestos, Quebec, Canada. Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain Collection, prev. Dr. George and Susan Robinson Collection # 137 Killer, killer, killer, vesuvianite specimen. Fine provenance, impeccable form, high luster, mixed colors…I could go on and on about this specimen. 1.9 x 1.6 x 1.4 cm in size but it seems so much bigger. The body of the crystal is green and gemmier than most while the termination is a rich purple and complex in form. The luster is very glassy and there are interesting growth features on the termination which are easy to see. Exceptional. 300$

OKI-542 Wulfenite Sierra de los Lamentos, Chihuahua, Mexico. Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain Collection, prev. Dr. George Robinson and exhibited at Burlington show, 2000. A simply huge crystal which measures 3 cm on edge or 3.6 cm diagonally. What is here is complete with only two very tiny chips (less than a millimeter each) on the back. Amazing impact for a TN specimen. From one of the most important North American mineralogical discoveries ever, written about in numerous books and periodicals. An important specimen in need of a place in a top TN collection. 550$

OKI-550 Wulfenite Sierra de los Lamentos, Chihuahua, Mexico. Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain Collection, prev. Dr. George Robinson. This is my favorite specimen of this bunch of wulfenites. A 1.2 cm gem crystal sits up high off the matrix and couldn’t possibly display any better than this. There is a pin head sized mark (visible with magnification) which does not draw any attention. Amazing impact for a TN specimen. From one of the most important North American mineralogical discoveries ever, written about in numerous books and periodicals. OKI-588 Grossular Jeffrey Quarry, Asbestos, Quebec, Canada. Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain Collection, prev. Dr. George and Susan Robinson collection and Tony Jones 2/81. This is a substantial TN specimen which is actually a healed shard off the surface of an enormous (by Jeffrey standards) garnet crystal. It measures 2.9 x 2 cm and is approx. .5 cm thick. The garnet is a very light yellow and gemmy. What appears to be inside the specimen is actually what you see on its backside (regrown faces and catalog #) because it is so transparent. No damage floater. A really neat find for the collector who thinks they have everything Jeffrey has to offer. 190$

The crystal is 1 cm on edge and the piece 2.1 x 1.9 x 1.6 cm overall. It displays nicely and is mounted in a perky box on an acrylic plate.
