Tasmanian Mineral Specimens For Sale

OKN-977    Crocoite     Adelaide Mine, Dundas, Tasmania.  Ex. Harold L. Dibble collection.  9.5 x 8.8 x 6 cm.  Bright red example with stocky hollow crystals and smaller crystals on same piece.  The large crystals are always difficult to tell if they are fully formed or broken.  I think this specimen is in excellent shape when closely inspected but some ends could be broke vs. terminated.  You'll have to be the judge.  Again, it looks to be in excellent shape from what I can tell.  $750

OKK-838    Crocoite    Zeehan, Tasmania.  Ex. Harold L. Dibble collection.  A large stocky specimen with a couple huge, crudely terminated crystals.  In good condition.  Very robust for this species.  4 x 1.5 x 1.2 cm and mounted in a perky box… it barely fits!  $50

OKJ-884    Hinsdalite pseudomorph after Pyromorphite        RESERVED       Sylvester Mine, Zechan, Tasmania.  An interesting, small matrix cluster of white and greenish crystals of partially pseudomorphed pyromorphite.  This specimen measures 1.8 x 1.2 x 1 cm overall and is mounted in a perky box.  $35

OKJ-841    Crocoite     Dundas, Tasmania.  Ex Paul and Dawn Dunning Collection.  2.5 x 1.4 x 1.5 cm matrix specimen with lots of bright red, lustrus crystals.  Some damage as is almost always the case with these.  Mounted in a perky box.  $20
