Mineral Specimens from Lac Mathilde, Quebec

Titanite as well as scapolite, quartz, diopside, calcite, stilbite, zircon and scapolite can be found near Lac Mathidle, Quebec.       

A location near Lac Mathilde in Quebec once produced an interesting mix of mineral specimens.  The include diopside, titanite, microcline, zircon, quartz, calcite stilbite and scapolite.

Quartz are smoky with partial milky overgrowths. Usually no overgroth on terminations.
