OKI- 185 Celestine Dundas Quarry, Dundas, Ontario, Canada. Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain collection. Collected in 1986 this specimen is basically a floater with only the tiniest of contacts on its base. The color is a normal light blue and the piece is translucent and gemmy in areas. The size and quality are exceptional for the locale. Good celestines that display this nicely, have no damage, high luster and good form are rather uncommon for Dundas. This one fits into the category of being exceptional. No damage and it stands on end for display. Great piece. 225$

OKI-187 Cowlesite RESERVED Globe, Oregon. Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain collection. Prev. Ward’s Minerals. The small balls of spiky crystals composing this piece are to 1.1 cm each and the entire specimen measures 3.9 x 1.2 x 1.5 cm. The white, translucent crystals look like strontianite at first glance but are not. Front view is nice with back, base and sides showing matrix. Nice damage free example of a basically impossible to find species. 50$

OKI-189 Smithsonite Jackson Tunnel, Luna Co., New Mexico. Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain collection. Dick Jones, collected 1981. A nice specimen of very uncommon material. The piece is 5.2 x 3.2 x 2.1 cm and is composed of tiny, globular, high luster smithsonite balls. The color is a combination of two: one color is a light yellowish green while the second is a light greenish gray. The display face is totally covered by smithsonite and the piece stands on edge perfectly for display. There is no damage to this desirable specimen except in one tiny spot along its edge where an approx. 2 millimeter ball is missing. You’ll have to look hard to find it. An unusual find. 225$

OKI- 246 Fluorite, Adularia (Twinned) and Muscovite Chumar Bakhoor, Nagar, Northern Areas, Pakistan. Ex. Fred Parker collection. This lovely display is a well balanced grouping with a large, translucent/ transparent adularia twin measuring 3 cm on edge forming the base. Radiating in out in numerous directions are silver muscovites to 2 cm with a string of pink to light purple fluorite octahedral running up one side of the piece. There is only one fluorite near the base of the group which has a tiny corner ding that is visible with magnification only. Really close to being a floater (only a thin matrix contact that I could not notice without magnification). Very clean piece! Exceptional quality, displays from all sides. A wonderful find. 425$

OKI-280 Betafite Silver Crater Mine, Cardiff, Ontario, Canada. Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain collection, prev. Bill condon, Pat Collins collections. 3.8 x 2.7 x 2.5 cm miniature which ranks as the nicest betafite I have owned from the locale. A find for the collector of radioactives. The crystal form is very sharp and all the surfaces are exceptionally clean. A couple small riders are present to add a bit of character. A couple very tiny nicks or contacts but nearly damage free. It is in better condition than any I have seen in hand or for sale in many, many years. Pieces of this quality are very rare and always will be. 350$

OKI-273 Copper and Vesuvianite in Calcite Jeffrey Quarry, Asbestos, Quebec, Canada. Ex. Dr. Steve Chamberlain collection. This specimen was figured in Rocks and Minerals Magazine (55: 187, figure #4). “YES..COPPER!!” This 7 cm cleave of white calcite has a small vein of copper running through one of its edges. On the top of this vein is a fully exposed copper wire in the shape of a letter “C” flanked by a couple of gemmy green vesuvianites. The wire is approx. .5 cm across. This is an important piece, obviously, if it was figured in Rocks and Minerals, and should be a fine addition to someone’s Jeffrey suite. 395$
