OKF-051 Quartz on Fluorite El Hammam Mine, Atlas Montains, Morocco. Ex. Art Edwards Collection. Aesthetic and unusual…this specimen is composed of clear/ white double terminated quart crystals to 1.7 cm each heavily coating the surface of a sea green fluorite. Views nicely from all sides but the back does have a couple quartz crystals which are dinged. An attractive display which you won’t see at the mineral shows or probably anywhere else online. 280$

OKF-054 Epidote Capelinha, Minas Gerais, Brazil. Ex. Art Edwards Collection. I’ve owned lots of these over the years but I think this is one of the best I have see. It measures a huge 12.8 x 5.8 x 2 cm thick. A few small quartz crystals on the front surface and you have a fine displayable piece. One edge near its base has an area of contact, otherwise there is no damage ot this impressive specimen. Its luster is very high and it is slightly translucent. A nice deal at 350$

OKF-055 Galena and Chalcopyrite Buick Mine, Reynolds Co., Missouri. Ex. Art Edwards Collection. Here is one of the finest galena specimens I have seen in years. It is perfectly balanced on a natural section of matrix (not trimmed). The massive cube measures 7 cm on edge! It has a great patina not a newly mined flashy luster. This is truly a specimen that could display well in any museum case. Chalcopyrite crystals coat the upper sections of the matrix and a couple of minor calcites are on the bottom. The cube is fully formed on all sides and displays great from any view. 14 x 10.5 x 10 cm overall. An absolute steal at 850$

OKF-056 Neptunite San Benito Gem Mine, San Benito, CA. Ex. Art Edwards Collection. This small plate, 6 x 3.8 cm, is sawn flat on the back and bottom and the crystals are exposed through the etching of the matrix as are almost all specimens from this location. The neptunites are single and double terminated crystals to 2.5 cm. A nice, damage free example of one of the two minerals for which this locale is so famous. 240$

OKF-058 Quartz Scepter Hallelujah Junction, Washoe Co., Nevada. Ex. Art Edwards Collection. This is one of those large fine scepters we all read about but seldom see offered for sale. This massive piece measures 15.8 cm long and is composed of both amethyst and smoky quartz. Transparent to translucent, including the stem, but I do not backlight my specimens to enhance them, so it isn’t very evident. The slightly skeletal cap is not fully formed all around in that the back was in contact with matrix. There is also a small contact on side which is less evident. A great specimen which displays okay from sides, not form back and great from the front. 770$

OKF-059 Galena Oklahoma. Ex. Art Edwards Collection. A fine specimen which is composed of large cubes to 5.9 cm on edge and smaller, to 1.3 cm each, octahedrons. Specimens like this are normally very unattractive while this one is quite aesthetic. The octahedrons stand way up of the matrix adding to their visibility. The entire specimen has an attractive patina. There is a minor dusting of chalcopyrite here and there. This one measures 10.4 x 9.5 x 7 cm. Great Piece! 420$

OKF-060 Galena, Quartz, Sphalerite and Chalcopyrite Madan, Bulgaria. Ex. Art Edwards Collection. Specimens of galena from this location are seldom of this fine quality. The plate measures 20 x 13.2 cm. It is nice and thick, about 5 cm, and liberally coated by fine crystals. The galenas are in cubes modified by octahedrons to 2.3 cm and they dominate the specimen. A couple of clear quartz sprays and chalcopyrites (to a cm) spruce up the specimen. The sphalerite blends in and is in a 2.5 cm cluster on one edge of the piece. This is an exceptional, damage free specimen and would be a fine addition to any collection. 550$
