OKO-721

OKO-721     Celestine     Sakoany, Majunga, Madagascar.  Ex. Harold L. Dibble collecton.  This is a fine, nice blue geode from a prolific location.  It measures approximately 24 x 18 x 14 cm.  I've had many nice examples of this material in the past but this is likely the finest.  It is exceptionally large, undamaged, and has exceptionally lustrous, rich blue crystals that are large and finely formed.  The vug is deeper and better developed than my camera can show.  Depth of field limits me in really giving you a fair assessment as to how exceptional this one is.  It might appear the the front is somewhat blocked by the large cluster of smaller crystals, but in person, this is not an issue and the visibility into the piece's interior is just fine.  This is a magnificent example of this material.  $1,500
