Letters From Some of Our Customers
It makes us very proud to be able to provide both the average collector and connoisseur with specimens that they can enjoy. Catering to the needs of these extremes in the hobby is challenging. We believe our customers have enjoyed the relationships established and the specimens they have acquired. Return business is one of our ways of justifying this statement. Another way is from the conversations and letters we receive. Here are a few of the letters and e-mails from those who seem satisfied (all names withheld for the confidentiality of our clients).
Good afternoon Mike,
I hope you are doing well :o) Just a quick note to thank you very much for the two mineral specimens I received this week (Aquamarine and Spodumene), they are absolutely amazing !!! Thank you also for all the care you took in the shipping and packaging process, everything was well protected and makes it home absolutely intact. Dealing with you has been a really pleasant and problem free experience, I am looking forward for your help in more coming business soon. Take good care !
Best regards,
Good afternoon Mike,
I just unwrap the quartz specimen. Wow! All I can say is that it is really a
true world class specimen. It is really impressive, the combo with the albite
just add the finest alpine touch to this great piece of rock! It even looks like
there is 1-2 small fluorapatite on the reverse side. I am very happy with
the specimen, it will have a place of choice in my collection. And a very
special thank you to you, Mike, for giving me first choice on it. Best
regards
Dear Mike,
...your stibnite/ calcite from China is still the most remarkable piece in my
collection and I'd like to recount a story to you. Two weeks ago I was at the
Denver Mineral Show and while admiring the exhibits I saw a cabinet of truly
exceptional specimens. There were perhaps thirty pieces, all hand size, and of
just mesmerizing quality. As I scanned across the rows, and delighted in the Red
Cloud wulfenite, the Sweet Home rhodo, the Afghan topaz, I came to the
conclusion that money was simply no object in assembling the collection. Each of
the minerals were so excellent that the display won a ribbon in spite of having
no labels, or exhibiters name or anything. Anyway the very last specimen in the
last row was a calcite on stibnite from Guangxi, China. As nice as it was, Mike,
it couldnąt even compare to mine. Note ever close! Thanks.
Dear Mike,
I am writing to thank you for your kind attention regarding this past Syracuse
Gem World Show. As you might recall, I had purchased some New York State
Specimens from your booth. Not realizing I had walked away with only part of my
purchase, you took the liberty of locating me and correcting the situation. It's
a pleasure knowing people like yourself who still care for their patrons. I look
forward to doing future business with you. Thanks again.
Mike,
The specimen arrived yesterday in good order. I have to say I was more than
impressed! I already own a good number of Tennessee fluorites but this new
addition is a true "Top Shelf" specimen. So sharp, in fact, that I placed it on
a rotating platform to show the mineralization on all the sides. Well worth the
price. Thanks once again.
I received the York River (Ontario, Canada)
specimen yesterday. The postal service did a number on the box...it looked as if
someone had kicked it all the way here (to the Australian outback). The packing
job you did was outstanding. No damage what so ever to the garnets and
vesuvianites. It is a great addition to my collection.
Dear Mike,
The photo you sent did not do justice to the calcite cluster...I was worried
about doing this purchase without seeing the piece first hand. What a nice
surprise when it arrived. Better color and clarity than I had expected. I am
looking forward to your next listing.
