FLUORINE DOMINANT DRAVITES

Here are the fluorine dominant dravites that would be my first picks to add to my own collection.  All are stable but they need cleaning.  I have not done an iron stain removal process on any yet (IE. Waller method or Iron Out).  I know most will be much improved by the process because I did Iron Out the two I put in my collection and they did well with the process.  The staining has been left in place to better highlight the tourmaline crystal(s) which, otherwise, would blend in on a black matrix.  The choice remains with the buyer to clean or not.  All specimens from this single pocket occurrence have micro fractures.  The pocket was highly brecciated and few specimens with partial or complete crystals were recovered.

These are as good as they get....when was the last time you saw a macrospecimen of a new species that were in such a limited supply, yet available to buy?  Don't forget, there hasn't been a new tourmaline species in what, 15 or so years!  This will likely be the type locality (possibly co-type).  We are told there are several tourmalines in the IMA pipeline but there is no other fluorine analog of dravite awaiting approval according to what we have been told.
