Chinese Stannite Specimens

Stannite is a very rare mineral in an form of decent crystal. From the Yaogangxian Tungsten Mine, Bai Shi Du, Chen Xhou, Yizhang County, Hunan Prov., China this species is know in crudely formed, sometimes large crystals. They are metallic and normally misshapen (often crystallized in ball shaped aggregates) and commonly found in association with quartz and sometimes other minerals. These are often misidentified. Expect them to always be expensive unless someone has messed up and not noticed there presence in a specimen.
