OKB-224 Hematite China. Large, thick, etched hematites with minor quartz. 4.3 x 2.3 x 2.5 cm with crystals to 2.2 cm each. 20$
OKA-782 Quartz/ Hematite Guang Dong, China. Slender, well formed quartz crystals
with blooms of hematite blades that create their matrix plates. Some of these
are clear Arkansas like quartz while others are distinctive, almost red,
hematite included crystals. This material is seldom without damage...a fact that
we will have to live with until the start doing a better job of recovery at this
site. The specimens look great because the missing points are usually along the
edges of the piece where one would expect damage anyway. Hematites vary greatly
in quality and are 1 to 2.5 cm per blade. Very expensive material that has not
come down in price since its introduction to the market several years ago.
OKA-782D 8 x 6 x 4 cm grouping of clear quartz to 5 cm each on very clean, high
luster hematite. Minimal edge damage, probably would be considered damage free
to most collectors. 115$
OKA-782E3 This is a tiny 6 x 4 cm plate with 4 large (to over 7 cm) crystal radiating up and side ways from the matrix. Very nice. 95$
