Chinese Calcites Page 3

OKD-582

OKD-582     Calcite    Nandan, Guangxi Prov., China.  A wonderful specimen of the new calcite coming from China that was available at this years Tucson Show.  This great example has crystals to 8 cm on a clear calcite coated limestone matrix.  This specimen is sawn flat on back and one edge so it displays well.  The big calcites (secondary growth) are very complex with nice striations on selective faces.  Zero damage and a high luster.  All the aesthetics one could ask for in a calcite specimen.  200$
